The successful application to commercial sugar beet growing of the research reported herein is due to the co-operation of sugar processors, local growers and the United States Department of Agriculture with the University of California. The controlled environment laboratory equipment study is being conducted through the co-operation of the California Institute of Technology, the Beet Sugar Development Foundation, and the Earhart Plant Research Laboratory in Pasadena.
