Abstract
The first public triticale variety to be released in the United States, Siskiyou, has high grain protein and lysine content and high yield with spring planting in the Tulelake region.
We are grateful to K. G, Baghott and Y. P. Puri for their interest and cooperation
at Tulelake, to W. F. Lehman for conducting trials at the Imperial Valley Field Station,
and to B. L. Brannaman and J. E. Ruckman for conducting protein and lysine analyses.
