Major Research Interests: Biology of bark beetles (Scolytidae), insect host selection behavior, insect pheromones, use of behavior-modifying chemicals in forest pest management, forest entomology, insect/fungal/tree interactions, chemical ecology of termites, insect pests of wood-in-service.
